How many people have been helped by the NEDC? How many resulting children (including those currently pregnant)?

I apologize for the delay, we are going to have National Embryo Donation Center pregnancy and birth rate data for embryo transfers performed up through end 2008, very soon!

This is a CORRECTION to the previous post dated July 29th.

I seriously apologize for the delay, but I now have an answer as to how many children have been born through embryo adoption at the NEDC, from its beginning in 2004 through treatments administered up through the end of 2008 (babies born up through the fall of 2009).

Over that period of time, NEDC has done 214 embryo adoption transfers. 99 (46%) of these resulted in an ultrasound-confirmed pregnancy. 94 of these pregnancies made it to the delivery of at least one live infant (44% of transfers). Including singletons, twin births, and triplets, a total of 123 infants were born.

These are among the highest success rates seen anywhere.

Thank you!
