Can an Unplanned Pregnancy be Donated?

Postby greatina » Sun May 31, 2009 4:54 am

Hi, I was wondering if the technology is available to freeze an embryo that is the result of an unplanned pregnancy. If so, how early into the pregnancy would one need to have the embryo removed and frozen? If it is possible, how costly would something like that be? Thanks for any help/direction you can provide...

You cannot remove an embryo from the uterus once it is implanted, and get it to survive. Once you are confronted with a pregnancy, your choices are abortion, adoption, or parenting.

We recommend parenting, or placing the child for adoption.
