Dreaming of a Baby

Postby DREAMINGOFABABY » Fri Nov 21, 2008 4:30 pm

I am looking for information on obtaining an embryo donation and assistance in finding financial assistance since my insurance does not cover the procedure. We have lost six babies and was told by our fertility specialist that the only hope we have is with donated eggs. But it cost $32,000 and our insurance will only cover $4,000. I am so depressed and feel so hopeless right now. And, I can not imagine going through life without a child. Can anyone give me any advise. Please.

At National Embryo Donation Center as well as other embryo donation programs in the U.S., the cost of adopting an embryo is considerably less ($5000 to $8000 per cycle, on the average) than going through an IVF cycle or adopting a child traditionally. I invite you to call NEDC at (865) 777-2013 and ask for the donor coordinator for a more detailed discussion of costs.

Thank you for asking!
